You can reserve your e-ticket through internet 10 days in advance. Seat reservation booking facility will be closed before 1 hour from schedule departure time of bus service.
A copy of the ticket would have been sent to you by e-mail when you booked the ticket. Please take a printout of that mail and produce it at the time of boarding. If you have not received your ticket to the mail ID you provided, we have flexibility that you will receive a message directly to your mobile from CTU immediately after booking ticket, you can give the PNR Number in website and you can take a printout.Further you can also show some SMS while boarding the bus.
Book ticket through Guest user. Registration is not mandatory, you can book now as Guest user, For Guest user Valid mobile number or valid mail id is required.
For registration use valid e mail and valid mobile numbers.
Passengers are requested to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus(Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus).
(i) A copy of the ticket or SMS or E-Ticket.
(ii) Identity proof.(Driving licence/Student ID Card/Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Aadhar Card etc.)
(iii) If you have opted for Sr. Citizen Concession, you need to carry a valid ID Card, issued by the Social welfare department, Chandigarh Administration. Otherwise full fare (i.e difference in fare)will be charged.
Maximum of six seats can be booked on a single e-ticket.
Yes, the on-duty Conductor will verify the original photo Identity Card of the passenger. If the passenger fails to produce the specified Identity Proof in original during the journey, the ticket will be treated as INVALID and the passenger will be treated as "Travelling without Ticket". Photocopies of Identity proof are not allowed.
After successful on line transaction this e-Ticket will be sent to passenger's e-mail address provided in his profile at the time of Registration. He can get the printout of this e-ticket from his mail or take print out of ticket after login.
Children less than the age of 6 years are allowed to travel free without providing any seat. Children of age 6 years or above and less than 12 years half of the fare will be charged and will be given seat.

Yes. You don't necessarily need to have a Credit card to buy tickets on CTU. You can buy tickets through Debit Card or Net Banking or UPI.

Transactions on CTU are very safe. CTU uses Secure Socket Layers (VeriSign/Go daddy etc., SSL) data encryption. Using SSL ensures that the information exchanged with CTU is never transmitted unencrypted thus protecting the information from being viewed by unauthorized individuals. This encryption is done using 128-bit RC4 encryption. In addition the Credit card information is processed over secure gateways which are certified by Visas.
If ticket status is not confirmed / transaction failed and amount deducted from bank accounts of user. In this condition payment gateways refunds respective amount automatically to same account within 7 days.
Yes. The tickets booked through CTU online can be cancelled. Money is transferred back to the passenger's Credit/Debit card account/ Net banking account. Please note that the cancellation fee is as per the E-Ticket Terms &; Conditions. Please contact our live help (XXXXXXXXXX) for service specific details.
Once you have booked your e-ticket, you will not be allowed to change the date and time of journey. You cannot replace the name, gender, age, etc. In such case you will have to cancel e-ticket first and re-book with the desired date, time, etc.
Refund of fare will be made through respective bank account only within 7days from the date of cancellation. No cash refund will be given to passengers directly for cancellation of e-ticket.
Reservation Fee is non-refundable except in case of 100 % cancellation of tickets, if the service is cancelled by CTU for operational or any other reasons

Partial cancellation is allowed, for which cancellation terms & conditions will apply.
The trips are subject to cancellation or postponement due to reasons beyond the control of CTU. Under such circumstances, passengers will be intimated through email/phone as soon as possible and the ticket amount will be refunded. In case of breakdown no refund will be given.
All e-Ticket cancellation refunds may process through payment gateway, i.e. passenger may get refund amount in their bank account/card /wallet through which they book ticket
No Email request will be entertained for the cancellation of tickets. User only cancels their ticket by their user ID only.
Cancellation of E-Tickets can only be done online by the user up to 3 hours prior to the departure time of the bus (from the originating station of the route). Within 3 hours prior to the Departure Time of the Bus from Originating Station of the route, e-Tickets cannot be cancelled through any mode i.e. Online or CTU Counters. After departure of the bus from originating station of the route, no cancellation of e-Tickets allowed.
Payment Gateway Service charges will not be refunded for service cancellation/ failure transactions in e-ticketing.
In case of technical / Break Down problem, the traveler may allowed to travel in other CTU buses subject to availability,But no refund will be given in any case.
Cancellation/Refund/Rescheduling Ticket booked through Online, refund will be done to their respective Credit Cards/Debit Cards/wallet/net baking/ Bank Accounts according to the Bank procedure. No refund will be done at CTU ticket booking counters or bus conductor.
CTU provides 100% refund if the bus is cancelled due to reasons beyond control of CTU.However, if the bus is missed due to any other reasons no refund will be given in any case.
No refund for non performance of journey.
No refund will be made in case of E-Tickets within 3 hours prior to the departure time of the bus from originating station of the route.
Ticket booked through Online, refund will be done to their respective Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Bank Accounts according to the Bank procedure. No refund will be done at CTU ticket booking counters.
  1. Less than 3 hours before schedule departure of the bus, 100% will be deducted.
  2. From 12 hours before and up to 3 hours before the schedule departure of the bus,70% of the basic fare will be deducted.
  3. From 24 hours before and up to 12 hours before the schedule departure of the bus, 50% of the basic fare will be deducted.
  4. From 72 hours before and up to 24 hours before the schedule departure of the bus, 25% of the basic fare will be deducted.
  5. More than 72 hours before the schedule departure of the bus, 10% of the basic fare will be deducted.
    • 100% cancellation of tickets, If the service is cancellation by CTU for operational or nay other reasons.
    • Transaction charges and service tax charged are non-refundable.
    • No refund will be given to 'No-SHOW' passengers who do not report at the boarding point time.
    • In respect of e-tickets cancelled by the passengers, CTU will refund the amount applicable to the concerned. The refunded amount is transferred back to the passenger’s Credit/Debit card/Other payment options.
    • No refund will be made after departure of the bus.
    • Partial cancellations are allowed in respect of e-tickets.
    • No Email request will entertained for cancellation of e-tickets.
